The most complete audio and only video documentation--we think--of Central Illinois cow punk thrashers Recreational Bones, live and in color from a long lost vhs tape shot by unknown female at Uptown Bar+Cafe in Minneapolis 6/24/86. Releasing a single 45 rpm "The Word" b/w "Fishing" in their short two year life span (1984-86), this selection from two longer sets contains originals and covers, and the unmistakeable harmonica and vocals of the late great Gary Hicks. Rec Bones loud, melodic, and raw efforts found them playing with amongst others, Meat Puppets, Soul Asylum, Naked Raygun, and fellow pals Souled American and many others from the 1980's underground.
